Introverted Sensing (SI)
ISTJ – ISFJ
“What WAS”
For example:
Listening to a dog bark. When our brain focuses on recalling the sound of the dog barking, you heard last week.
Si can be best explained by comparing it to Se. In Se the individual experiences the environment the way all of the senses report, immediately and in real-time. With Si, the individual functions in mostly stored memories of previous sensory experiences. This makes them great at comparing & contrasting.
